SORRY!!!!!!

I have plenty of excuses for not posting.

First one: Paloma and Jessica witnessed our laptop fall down from the couch and “die”! Second: We’ve just been too busy! At this very moment Chris and I are in Berlin relaxing. Paloma has been in the care of Grandma, Grandpa and Great Grandma Djoerup and she’s got the chicken pocks! Covered in spots.

Berlin is fantastic in two days we’ve eaten great food, seen the city and just maxed relaxed! Weather has been super and people are just, plain and simple, happy.

What has happened the last 2 months? Nothing much. Just a lot of family time for Chris, Paloma and myself and a lot of golf (a lot, hcp 15,7 and counting)!

I’m still skinny, about 74 Kg!

I’ll start Twittering more, so follow us here and there and we will defo post more photos from the mobile. Chris is huge and she’ll be bigger in two weeks when we go to Mallorca, Spain! Yeah, man! More sun!

Ps. Congratulations to Cecilia and Pablo in India who became parents to little Iago!

Summer holidays part 2!

We are half way through our summer vacation and today is the first official day where the weather is actually “summer” (We’re going to the beach). That’s ok, cause mission one this vacation has been to finish Palomas bedroom. IKEA furniture, knicks and knacks from odd small stores and wall paint for funny animals on the wall. TADAAA:

Hanging out with friends and family (a little party maybe – thanks Steve and Philip for my well deserved hangover), fixing Palomas room has been our main activities (a little golf for me). So for the remainder of our vacation we’ll be going to a wedding (Brian and Katja), birthdays (Paolo this weekend), going to the beach and just listening to Paloma yap away. Yes she is at the early stages of talking (or yapping) to Christinas and my delight!

Update

This is what I’ve been doing with the blessing of Christina. Following the Euro2008 and keeping score on my fantasy teams! So therefore I’m doing pretty much the same thing every evening in June!

Paloma is yapping away and keeping both Christina and I entertained. Oh yeah, she is definetely Mommas girl here in June, in a big way. It’s all about “Muaar” (MOMMA in Danish).

We made it over to Odense too visit the Loeftgaards (Henrik, Uyen and Mikkel) this weekend. They moved over there last November as Henrik joined the family business KJ vaerktøj. Beautiful house and had me pretty much hooked on the new iMac. It’s the one plug only that did it for me.

But still, I have always pledged that I wouldn’t go down that alley. But it’s just so cool. Hard disk and all in the screen. Tempting!

Consolidation!

We have for now terminated the “paloma.soriano.dk” site and imported all of the posts from that site to the “soriano.dk” site. So now this is also the official site of Paloma.

New Soriano, Merry X-mas etc.

Well as usual the Soriano admin of this site haven’t been great at updating so here it comes.

Our Christmas celebrations were long. 3 long days with food and drink. We spent with both sides of the family where again Paloma was blessed with a load of gifts! As with most children the wrappings were a huge success. At the Soriano family X-mas lunch I had a too few many snaps and had to take a nap at 0600 PM! It’s hard getting old!

New Years Eve was a quiet affair. We spent it with 4 other couples with kids where the boys thought they were going to get drunk ended up eating too much ending up on the couch with a stuffed belly. By the way Paloma decided to get up before midnight and party with cousin Elias untill 0230 AM!

The 9th of January Jade and Timothy became the proud parents to Romeo Jaden Hamilton Soriano. 3400 grams and 52 cm (I think) was his numbers. So Soriano bunch are most delighted!

In general Paloma is absolutely fantastic, full of energy and eats like a horse! At the moment she is Mommas girl, but does find the time to give her Poppa a kiss. As you know she is walking and tries to climb anything she can get away with. And bananas are definetely her favourite, she downed 3,5 banana in one day plus her daily diet!

So planned for the new year is work for the parents and spending as much time with Paloma. We’ll be expecting to see most you for dinner at our or your place, when time allows it, and maybe even you suckas living in other countries. Lock your doors we might turn up!

Regarding the site, Christina and I have promised ourselves to update it more often, so to focus more Palomas photoblog will be integrated to the main site so we only need to worry about that one! We will also update the my pics site so mainly the pictures will be in there! Is it a new years resolution? Absolutely as soon as we begin!

We are back in track…

..and focused on soriano.dk! Wedding.soriano.dk and Bryllup.soriano.dk have both been deleted as their main focus was to service the guest at our wedding. Next will be to update Paloma’s little photblog and our 23 account (pictures), so check in once in a while for the Soriano update!

Summer update!

Because of the wedding and christening of Paloma we decided to stay home in DK this summer. We went to Aarhus where we stayed with Kat, Morten & Amelia for a couple of days. The absolute highlight was when our wonderful hosts had hired a masseuse for us all the best massage I’ve ever gotten! in the beginning of July we then went up north to Liseleje where we borrowed Was & Tinas summer house and that was an absolute superb week, where we were joined by Lorilee, Jonathan & Elias. We actually had a lot of sun and good food and it was here we saw Paloma crawl for the first time!

The rest of the time we have just hung out, our little family. Paloma has grown and developed incredibly and that was the most important thing for me to experience.

So now 10 weeks of maternity leave is lacking towards the end and I’m going back to work this Monday. That, I’m looking forward to, as I’m starting my new position in the company.
