#1 GPS RANGEFINDER ON GOLF DIGEST’S 2009 HOT LIST! The SG5 automatically calculates the distance to up to 40 targets per hole, simultaneously, in less than a second.

Digital Scorecard - Keep track of your round and the SkyCaddie’s Digital Scorecard adjusts to your handicap.

IntelliGreen® - Gives you an eagle’s view of each hole from anywhere on the course.

Mark Your Ball - The SkyCaddie can tell you with a simple touch of a button. Knowing how far you hit with every club in your bag will speed up club selection and let you manage your game better.

Up to 40 targets per hole - In combination with our high-quality professional course maps, available with one of our annual membership plans, the SkyCaddie can display up to 40 targets per hole. These ground-mapped SkyCourses include distances to hazards, fairway targets and layups that would not be visible with a laser or from satellite maps.

The question is – Will this make me a better golfer? Probably not, but I´ll have a lot more fun though!

HTC 710 sucks!

I got this phone back in November and it’s been at the work shop twice. Finally I got it back and now it just won’t syncronize with my pc! That means a couple of hundred contacts needs to be manually punched in! It sucks! I should go back to the days where emails and calendars only are for pcs and mobile phones only are for calls and sms!

I want a boat!

For the past couple of years I’ve been talking about getting a boat. The big Q’s has been:

  • what kind?
  • How much will you spend?
  • How much work is there keepin’ it?

I realized that I wasn’t willing to spend to much time putting in the effort to maintain a boat.  I talked to Jonathan Hansen about taking “dueligheds tegnet” (sailing certificate). I would like to at one point but sailing demands time and is a lot more ambitious than what I’m willing for. Christina’s parents just got themselves a new sailboat (named it Paloma) and the time Asger put into it before it hit water made me sweat. So we can scratch the sailboat for now (maybe when I retire one day).

I then talked to Euge and Henrik about getting a motorboat together with them (I believe that collaboration is still alive) a boat where we could sit 4-5 people and drink beer and where there would be place to crash if one of us for some reason would end in the couch at home anyway ;-) . But still alot of work until Euge told us that his father would love to join in our plans as he’s an avid fisher. Bingo, a man who would probably love to spend the time and the love on a boat. Not a bad idea! But if we don’t find a way to do make this happen I will do all I can to get a little speedboat in time, it will be on my list for Santa! Last week I was sitting at “Christianshavns bådudlejning”, which is a cafe in the canals of Christianshavn, enjoying a beer with Benni just watching the small speedboats cruising by in the summer night. It was so appealing that if I had the means I would  have been doing the same the day after. So I concluded if the collaboration with Euge & Henrik does not happen, I have my Q’ answered for what I want in a boat:

  • water sports/waterskiing
  • cruisin
  • small (13 footer)

Speedboats can be pricy, but if I were to invest in something new it would be something like an Ørnvik (Swedish produced):

But lets see what happens, I could get lucky and find a good used one as well. But first of all I’ll need a speedboat license!

My 31st and my new toy!

Last Wednesday was my 31st birthday and I got myself this Nikon D70s for my self. Awesome camera and pricey. But you know me. I made Eugene look for the best price on his honeymoon in New york. Thanks man! Anyway had some fam & friends over for some chow. Because I’m so busy at work it was ill planned, I forgot to call some people and an hour before people arrived I hadnt even started on the food. Some of the pics can be seen here and taken with the new toy. The beast!

I like!

Given my mission to get in shape, I tend to check out the market for gear, and there’s a lot of gear out there, but this particular product, the Garmin forerunner 305 is just so tempting for me to buy it hurts. About 370 Euros (2895 DKK) makes it an expensive watch. What it can do? Alot. It continuously monitors your heart rate, speed, distance, pace and calories burned so you can train smarter, more effectively. It tracks your every move with a super-sensitive GPS that even works on treecovered trails and near tall buildings. I like! Will it help me getting in shape. Well if I decide to get it, with that price it better motivate me. But that is one sweet watch.
