I got this phone back in November and it’s been at the work shop twice. Finally I got it back and now it just won’t syncronize with my pc! That means a couple of hundred contacts needs to be manually punched in! It sucks! I should go back to the days where emails and calendars only are for pcs and mobile phones only are for calls and sms!

We’ve just been in Dublin
April 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment
This morning we just arrived home from Dublin. Christina, Jessica, Paloma and myself were away for 5 days. It was Paloma and Chris’ first time (yeah together for alomst 6 years and her first time over). The first day we enjoyed the good weather in Dublin city where after we went up to Mullingar to visit Iris and Manuel in there house “Il Sogno”. The following days we stayed at my Uncle Harry and Aunt Nualas place up in Donabate.
The next couple of days I got whipped in two rounds of golf by my uncle Frank and cousins Gavin and Wesley. It was brutal! The girls did some serious shopping and we’re talking bags after bags. Paloma got to see loads of animals with cousin Mark at the farm up in Donabate. We didn’t get to see everybody but there will always be another time in Dublin. Oh yeah, check my cousin Andys hubby Garry have his debut pro cagefight here (Warning: can be violent).

Paloma and words
April 2, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Here’s a list of words that Loma knows (some aren’t real words, but, you know!) in Danish and babish. In general Danish is spoken to Loma, only her “Farmor” (that’s grandma on the fathers side) speaks English to her as I’m 50/50 between Danish and English. The list:
-
Mamam (Food in babish and the absolute most used).
-
Hej (hi)
-
Hej hej (bye)
-
Haar (hair)
-
Hov (ups)
-
Moar (Mom, only says it to the picture of Christina in her room)
-
Pappa (Either it’s me or her great grandfather)
-
Far (Daddy, only says it to the picture of me, the father, in her room)
-
Nej (No, usually only used when daddy asks for a kiss)
-
Tak (Thank you)
That is that for now!
Oh yeah, she’s trained to get the paper when I’m in the loo and trained to throw her own diaper out!
