A few Easter Pics

I was off for the Easter holidays for 10 days straight. But sadly Paloma caught a stomach virus and was out cold for 5 days without being able to keep any food in. But believe me she made a huge comeback and the only word she knows these days is “mamam”. Any way, why the Maki rolls (pic above)? Well as usual we have fish on Good Friday and we made loads of Maki rolls and I had to take pictures of that and if you go here there will be a few more of the pics of the delights (home made) and of Paloma at the annual Easter lunch at Christinas parents.

Oh yeah, Lent ended Sunday and I stuck to everything on my list except the 5 day a week work out (maybe 2 a week in average). When Sunday came I had my chocolate biscuits and that was it. I’ve lost 6kg and I’ve decided to continue to stay of the dairys.

Last Friday we went to Pintxos, a Spanish tapas bar. The team consisted of Daniel B, Store Lars, Alex, Mik, Euge, Bri and myself. Food was good, service was all right and the price would have been too if they hadn’t screwed us on the tequila shots we had; 70 DKK (14 USD or 9,4 Euros)a pop, that was the price for two beers!!!! But the food was good! It was supposed to have been an early night until somebody ordered the shots, it ended early allright. Early morning!!!!!!!!!!

Today I should have a few beers to celebrate my mothers heritage; the right to drink today. I’m off work for the Easter holidays and I’m enjoying it. Paloma got a cool shirt and leprechaun hat from Iris, thanks. Happy Saint Paddy’s to all!

La Buca

Last Friday Mik, Angela, Christina and myself parked the kids and went for dinner at La Buca. For many years I’ve always heard well about this place and it was great. The food was good. The entre’ was good, the wine was good and the main course was even better. Everybody had the “Agnello al forno” (lamb) where as I had veal with black truffles. Mine was really good but the others was fantastic. I was sucking the bones clean off the others leftovers.  Service was a bit slow but they were so nice that it was forgiven. The only bad thing was the sambuca hangover the next day!
