Well you know me! I, too, have my moments of absence. Almost 3 weeks! Anyway, lets sum up what has happened the past three weeks:
Paloma’s first Christmas and we spent Christmas Eve with my family. Loads of food as usual and everybody was there except Paloma’s granddad (will get back to that).
The 25th we stayed at home. My Mom, Sis and Cousins came over for flaeskesteg sandwiches and a game of Monopoly. A 6 hours game that I ended up dominating.
The 26th we were at Christina’s parents where we again got stuffed with Christmas food. Check some of the Christmas pics here.
The 25th my father got married, so congrats to him and my new step mom Honey. All I heard was; “I got married yesterday and the bloody judge was 3 hours late”, hilarious. As soon as I get a picture of the newlyweds I will definitely post it. Oh and my sister and I got 3 small step brothers out of it and I do believe that Honey is about 38 years old so we could actually have a half brother or sister. Come on pops I’m sure you troops are fit:-). LOL!
New years was spent at our place. Kindergarten New years eve. We had Daniel & Terry over with the twins, Chloe and Vanessa, Jonathan & Lorilee with little Elias and my Mom. It was very laid back. Good food, diapers and nursing. Man, do I feel grown up. We all helped with the menu; Christina & I had made the starters: Cream avocado with salmon on toast & a shrimp cocktail made with avocado on toast. Jonathan & Lorilee made the main course: oven baked sea bass. Daniel & Terri brought the desert: Paradis is and the “Kransekage” and finally Mom brought all the goodies. We popped the champagne and enjoyed the fireworks, living on he top corner floor gave us an awesome view. just before midnight Christina got me a gift, it was a….
…Wii game console! Christina has tried for years to surprise me and she finally got her way. The 30th Nov we visited Was & Tina to see their new house, and Was was so excited to show me the game console from Nintendo he got for the kids (you get it, for the kids! Yeah right). Anyway, not being the great PS, XBOX, gamer type, I was so into the whole Wii experience. You are physically involved, you are doing the moves, I had to have it. When we got home, Christina went out to do some shopping and I asked her to see if she could get me console knowing that they were probably sold out and they were, she told me and I was so disappointed. Well can you imagine the big kid when he got his toy the day after. So yes, hats off to Xstina.
New years resolution: Spin 3-4 times a week (every Mon, Thu, Sat. Tue (optional)), eat healthy, no junk food or beer before i weigh 80kg. So this is the year I get in shape.
