Merry Christmas to you all!

It’s been a while since my last post and what better time to do it by posting a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all.

Today it’s 5 weeks since Paloma came into our world and we are ready for her first X-mas. During these 5 weeks family and friends have been by with food, gifts and congratulations and it has just been overwhelming. I mean seriously, it’s almost embarrassing the amount of gifts she has received. We ordered a lot of Christmas/Thank you cards and they are on their way, the company where we ordered them didn’t deliver in time, so no worries.

The year 2006 has been exciting for me, a lot of changes has happened to my life. As most of you know I started the year off with a lot of travelling after selling the business, I proposed to Christina, she got pregnant, I started in a new line of business working with IT, getting to know a lot of interesting people and seeing a lot of friends ending up pregnant ( from March 2006 untill June 2007 15 babies in and around our socialnet have or will give birth to a baby) and of course our little Cookie Paloma came around. Oh, I forgot to post that Benjamin and Carmen are expecting in June and Daniel and Terri as well! Congrats to them.

2006 is also the year where my father has moved to the Philipines to marry his conquest Honey. I know they bought some land and are going to build a residence there, so I wish them the best of luck.

For 2007 I wish you all a sh..load of love, peace and prosperity!

Think of the enviroment, people in need and try not to be a major ass, too many of them around.

So folks; Eat well, treat each other well and just suck in the love!

Sleep, I need it!

Well, karma got me for boasting that I did not need to get up in the early AM’s. It’s now 2:35 in the AM and I’ve been up with Paloma for 2 hours! She has just fallen asleep and guess what?.. my eyes are wide open! This is what every parent must go through, I guess. Well, I think I’ll be starting a love affair to coffee during the day!

The fab San Marco!

What can I say. For our Christmas party Alex & Niels B. brought us (Aprismo) to San Marco and gave us a mindblowing gastro-erotic experience. Food and wine was “of the hook”. I won’t even mention the wine, cause everything we drank was off the menu, meaning really good shit! To make it short, we had sword-fish carparccio style, some pasta dish which was the best part of the menu (if you can have an orgasm in your mouth, that was it), and a tenderloin that just melted in my mouth, 4 kinds of cheese and finally a chocolate cake with homemade vanilla icecream. It was too much food and I was full, but I would do it again.
I found out that they were voted Italian restaurant of the year and that is well deserved. Check their site here and AOK’s review (only in Danish).

Almost 14 days gone and happy birthday!

My 14 day maternity leave is soon over, I’m back at work Monday! Today we got the X-mas party at Aprismo, which is going to be fun, but I already have to leave Paloma?! It’s going to be interesting to see how many text messages and calls I’ll be making to check up on Paloma. Tonight and when I get back to work. Gotta focus.

Oh yeah, to all you parents out there getting no sleep… We’re getting plenty!!!!!!!! Karma is probably gonna get me for the boasting.

Today is my Mom, Stella and Jonathan’s (not me)Birthdays, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! And Jonathan I hope you got some sleep last night;-)Have a great day guys! Massive hugs and kisses.
